Thailand — Bangkok & Phuket, 6 days, 5 nights

The standard and still the best way to do a first Thailand trip out of Dubai: two nights in Bangkok for the Grand Palace and the river, then a domestic hop south to Phuket for the beaches and a boat day through Phang Nga Bay.

A calm beach with clear shallow water

What you get

  • Grand Palace and Wat Pho's reclining Buddha
  • Chao Phraya river boats and the canal klongs
  • Phang Nga Bay by longtail through the limestone karsts
  • Phi Phi islands day trip as an option
  • Old Phuket Town's Sino-Portuguese shophouses

Overnight flight lands in the morning; transfer and check-in, afternoon free.

About these prices. They are typical published rates for a trip of this shape, researched in September 2026, and they are shown so you can budget honestly before you enquire. They are not a quote: your final price depends on travel dates, party size, hotel availability and season. Send us the dates and we will come back with a real figure and what it includes.

Before you book

Is Phuket worth it in the monsoon?

Hotels are half price and the rain usually comes in bursts rather than all day, but the boat days are the risk — Phang Nga and Phi Phi are cancelled for swell. If the islands are the reason you are going, travel November to March.

Can we swap Phuket for Krabi or Samui?

Yes. Krabi prices similarly and Samui is on the other coast, which flips the good season. Tell us when you want to travel and we will point you at the right one.
